CDL performs prescribed sample collection and testing, with or without an appointment. Testing without a requisition under collective prescriptions requires a nursing appointment.
Services and inclusions
- A healthcare professional’s requisition is generally required
- Check any fasting or preparation instructions for your tests
- Most results are available within 24 to 48 hours, depending on the test
- Receipts provided and direct billing available with some insurers, subject to eligibility
Testing for urinary tract infections, pregnancy, strep throat, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV is available without a physician’s requisition under collective prescriptions. Book an appointment with a nurse, who assesses eligibility and performs or arranges the appropriate testing. Treatment is prescribed when required, according to the applicable protocol.
With Alliance Santé and Alliance Signature, one collective-prescription test is included each year (up to $150).

Our team follows up on results and contacts you as promptly as possible if a result is abnormal. It helps coordinate specialist consultations when needed.
